Festival dell'Oriente

Dall'11 al 13 settembre e dal 18 al 20 settembre, dalle ore 11:00 alle 24:30 alla Mostra d'Oltremare

 
Il Festival dell'Oriente, il più importante evento internazionale interamente dedicato a culture, popoli e tradizioni Orientali, giunge alla sua quattordicesima edizione e, dopo gli straordinari successi delle tappe di Torino, Roma, Milano, che hanno registrato oltre 500.000 spettatori, approda finalmente nel Sud Italia: a Napoli, culla della cultura Mediterranea.
La città Partenopea ospiterà una delle edizioni più belle mai realizzate, che avrà luogo nei giorni 11-12-13 e 18-19-20 settembre dalle 11:00 alle 24:30 nella splendida cornice del complesso fieristico "Mostra d'Oltremare", in un'area di oltre 30.000 mq sia all'aperto che al chiuso.
Un grande happening dedicato all'Oriente ed a tutti i suoi aspetti tradizionali e moderni. Mostre fotografiche, bazar e stand commerciali, gastronomia tipica, cerimonie tradizionali, spettacoli folkloristici, medicine naturali, concerti, danze e arti marziali si alterneranno nelle numerose aree dedicate alle varie culture Orientali, in un continuo ed avvincente susseguirsi di show, incontri, seminari ed esibizioni.
Tradizione, spiritualità, folklore, divertimento, musica: con la presenza di 12 aree culturali dedicate alle tradizioni dei paesi d'Oriente, mostre artigianali e fotografiche, un grande bazar orientale con 350 stand di prodotti tipici, 130 conferenze e workshop, 20 ristoranti etnici, 4 maxi aree interattive per la pratica di arti marziali, di yoga e di discipline bionaturali, e per la prima volta la presenza di 5 palchi, cuore pulsante della manifestazione, che contemporaneamente proporranno ai visitatori un'incredibile programmazione, che si protrarrà ininterrottamente dalle 11:00 sino alle 24:30, con più di 400 spettacoli per oltre 13 ore d'intrattenimento giornaliero.
Nei padiglioni del Festival dell'Oriente verranno presentate le Cerimonie tipiche e le Tradizioni d'Oriente: dalla vestizione del Kimono alla Cerimonia del tè, dal circo Cinese ai massaggi tradizionali Thailandesi, dagli Origami all'Ikebana, dalla Cerimonia del Mandala alla Pittura Zen Sumi-e, dal Teatro NO ai Maestri gourmet Giapponesi, dal Fruit Carving alla scrittura tradizionale in Ideogrammi ed un'infinità di altre attività, in un percorso coinvolgente alla scoperta delle culture e del folklore di paesi lontani ed affascinanti.
Sunny Singh Bollywood Dance Company, i tamburi da guerra giapponesi Taiko, il gruppo Italy Lion and Dragon Dance, Elsbert Anthonysamy and the Shakti Dance, il gruppo Punjab Bhangra Boys and Girls, Ambili Abraham and Bollymasala Dance, la danza Tannura di Emad Selim, il gruppo Sri Lanka Pradeep Shastra e numerosi altri artisti, per vivere la magia delle atmosfere Orientali.
Un'imperdibile occasione per interagire e sperimentare gratuitamente decine di terapie tradizionali, visitare il settore "Salute e Benessere: da Oriente a Occidente" con le sue aree dedicate a terapie olistiche, discipline bionaturali, yoga, ayurveda, fiori di Bach, thetahealing, meditazione, spazio vegano, reiki, massaggi, ci kung, tai chi chuan, shiatsu, tuina, biomusica, rebirthing, integrazione posturale e molte altre ancora.

"Festival dell'Oriente", the most important international event entirely dedicated to the Oriental cultures, people and traditions, reaches its 14th edition, after the amazing successes achieved in the cities of Turin, Rome, Milan, with more than 500.000 visitors, and it finally arrives in Southern Italy: in Naples, cradle of the Mediterranean culture.
The city of Naples will host one of the most beautiful editions ever, that will take place on the 11-12-13 and 18-19-20 of September from 11:00 am to 00:30 am in the gorgeous setting of the exhibition center "Mostra d'Oltremare", an area of more than 30.000 m2 both indoor and outdoor.
A great happening dedicated to the Oriental world and all its traditional and modern features. Photographic displays, bazaar and commercial stands, typical gastronomy, traditional ceremonies, folklorist performances, natural medicine, concerts, dances and martial arts will alternate in the several areas assigned to the various Oriental cultures, in a continuous and engaging sequence of shows, meetings, seminaries and exhibitions.
Tradition, spirituality, folklore, entertainment, music: with 12 cultural areas dedicated to the traditions of the Oriental countries, artisan and photographic displays, a great Oriental bazaar with 350 stands of typical products, 130 conferences and workshops, 20 ethnic restaurants, 4 interactive maxi-areas to perform martial arts, yoga and bio-natural disciplines, and for the first time ever 5 stages, main core of the event, that will simultaneously propose to the visitors an incredible schedule, that will endure without interruptions from 11:00 am to 00:30 am, with more than 400 shows for a daily entertainment of over 13 hours.
In the pavilions of "Festival dell'Oriente" you will get to know the typical Ceremonies and the Oriental Traditions: from the Kimono dressing to the Ceremony of the tea, from the Chinese circus to the traditional Thai Massages, from Origami to Ikebana, from the Mandala Ceremony to the Zen Painting Sumi-e, from the Theatre NO to the Japanese Gourmet Masters, from Fruit Carving to the traditional Ideogram writing and a lot of other activities, in a captivating journey to discover the cultures and the folklore of fascinating, far away lands.
