Library

The PAN Library is part of the Documentation Centre at the Naples Palazzo delle Arti (PAN) in Palazzo Roccella.
Specializing in the arts and contemporary artistic practice, the PAN Library contains around four thousand items (monographs and art catalogues) subdivided into four sections: a Neapolitan Section covers local history, along with a General Section, the Coen-Cagli Collection Section and a Periodicals Section for arts sector publications.
The Library's main goals are to conserve and protect its heritage, support study and research, and promote reading and the development of citizen-oriented services. The Library's collection is constantly growing through donations and exchanges; work continues on an ongoing basis to review and classify its books, documents and image collections. The PAN library features a large number of highly informative arts sector periodicals of great historical value. These are freely available for consultation. Library membership and signature of the library's terms and conditions is required to access and consult library materials. The public may take advantage of the following amenities: library search guidance and assistance, on-site reading and consultation, and the option for self-study on library premises.
The PAN library is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10 AM and 1 PM. The Library catalogue may be consulted online at http://biblioteca.palazzoartinapoli.net. To use the library at other times and on other days, appointments can be made by calling +39 081/7958650, or by sending an e-mail to bibliotecapan@comune.napoli.it .
