The Cemetery of Fontanelle

The Cemetery of Fontanelle is located in the heart of Rione Sanità and it is one of the most important in Naples. Historically the necropolis is the place of a very popular devotion for the deads, identified as souls in purgatory needing care. Forgotten for many years it was restored and reopened since May of 2010.
