The recent and innovative birth of new museums and galleries in Naples, proves its rich activity and the big potentiality of art and author photography in our city, despite that there is the need of a joined moment in which can discuss artists of Campania region, national and international. An ideal place and a working place where express its own visions about photography and about semiology that at the same time can be attractive for tourism linked to the photography but also to the "good loocking" of Naples and its province, full of history, culture and art , food for photographic land visual language. |
Movements for photography - International Festival of contemporary image and author photography, was born to fill the empty space thru a cultural and didactic activity that snakes itself during the whole year. It was born to make a dialogue and creat sinergies between photography and different artistic languages in Campania, Italy and other Countries. It was born as path with the aim to analize and prove the contemporary and anthropological aspects of Campanian territory and match it with reality apparently far from us, bring to light artistic realities, create visual projects. The Festival it's a path of growth and analysis on artistics and narratives potentiality of photography and contemporary image, a working methodology able to improve model and creative process, codify tendency, setting up continuity with past productions, digitize ideas.. |
In this first edition, the Festival tells about a topic necessary to analize, study and show: identity and territory".
Festival forecasts a path of exhibitions with internetional artists as Jan Saudek, Irina Ionesco, Francesco Cito, Sandy Kim, andphotographers by Saint Petersburg ), events, artistic talks with successfulphotographers, portfolio readings, videos and con fotografi affermati, letturedi portfolio, video e video installations and workshop, and projects about territory asdocumentaries and iconographical exhibitions.
