List of the Parks in Naples

The list of the ten municipalities of Naples is here presented. For each Municipality a list of the main parks was created. The following parks are those managed by the Municipality itself or by the Management Service for Urban Parks of Naples. Each Municipality has a list of its parks.

For the most important parks, the map shows the main sport area, restaurants, bars and playgrounds.

Municipalità 1 (1st Municipality)
 The 1st Municipality includes the districts of Chiaia, Posillipo and San Ferdinando. The main park of this Municipality is the Public Garden, which was first born as the Royal Walk, then it became a public park in 1860.

 

Municipalità 2 (2nd Municipality)
 The 2nd Municipality includes the districts of Avvocata, Montecalvario, Mercato, Pendino and S.Giuseppe-Porto. The main parks of the area are: Viviani park and Ventaglieri park.

 
 


 
 

Municipalità 3 (3rd Municipality)
 The 3rd Municipality includes the districts of San Carlo all'Arena and Stella. Park: Capodimonte Hood, which can be dated back to the 18th century.

 

Municipalità 4 (4th Municipality)
 The 4th Municipality includes the districts of S. Lorenzo, Vicaria, Poggioreale and the Industrial Area. In this area it is possible to appreciate two gardens related to religious complexes

 
 


 
 

Municipalità 5 (5th Municipality)
 The 5th Municipality includes the districts of Vomero and Arenella. The most important park is Villa Floridiana, which is considered to be the "green lung" of the city.

 

Municipalità 6 (6th Municipality)
 The 6th Municipality includes the districts of Ponticelli, Barra and San Giovanni a Teduccio. In this area there are ten park, seven of which open to the public, the most important is Troisi park.

 
 


 
 

Municipalità 7 (7th Municipality)
 The 7th Municipality includes the districts of Miano, Secondigliano and S. Pietro a Patierno. This area has many green areas equipped with sport facilities.

 

Municipalità 8 (8th Municipality)
 The 8th Municipality includes the districts of Piscinola, Marianella, Chiaiano and Scampia. The most important park is the Camaldoli one, widely know for its ornithological importance.

 
 


 
 

Municipalità 9 (9th Municipality)
 The 9th Municipality includes Pianura and Soccavo areas. The parks of these districts host playgrounds and many events.

 

Municipalità 10 (10th Municipality)
 The 10th Municipality includes Bagnoli and Fuorigrotta districts. The most important park is Totò park.
