The 8th Municipality includes the districts of Piscinola, Marianella, Chiaiano and Scampia. The most important park is the Camaldoli one, widely know for its ornithological importance, indeed it is the place where the rare peregrine falcon nests.
The park is on the summit area of the ancient crater of the arc flegreo that, with its explosion, outlined the main elements of the morphology of the territory.
The Camaldoli Park is part of the larger regional project of the Metropolitan Parkof the Hills of Naples.
