On May 30 at 12.00 am, at the maritime station, which will host Gutenberg Galaxy, there will be the announcement of the six winners of the 55th edition of Naples Prize:
- 3 winners for the Italian literature section
- 3 winners for the Foreign literatures section.
Among the presents, the president Silvio Perrella and 13 jury members (Giorgio Amitrano, Antonella Anedda, Carla Benedetti, Gianni Bonina, M. Francesco Cataluccio, Andrea Cortellessa, Martha Herling, Raffaele Manica, Maria Nadotti, Antonio Pascale, Isaia Sales, Marino Sinibaldi, Giovanna Zucconi). They will explain the reasons of the choice at the presence of "Friends of Naples Prize"; their vote and that of other national and foreign reading committees, will declare the Naples Prize - Book of the year 2009, the Italian and the foreign one. The final ceremony of the Naples prize will take place in November.
Unlike the last editions, this year the jury will be composed of 13 members and not 14, because they have decided not to sub for Fabriia Ramondino, who died the last summer. The whole day of May 30 will be dedicated to her.
