3rd international exhibition on monument restoration: from restoration to preservation

from 4 April to 19 May 2009

The Neapolitan edition draws attention to the section dedicated to Campania, exhibiting some works just concluded or still in progress. These works, for which the Superintendency is going to start the designing or the High Surveillance, are:
 
- in Naples: the Royal Palace, with various operations, the architectonic-city planning complexes of S. Domenico and San Lorenzo Maggiore, S. Gregorio Armeno, Santa Maria della Sanità and Sant'Aniello a Caponapoli;
- in the Phlegrean Fields: the Temple-Cathedral of Pozzuoli, the Bourbon complex of Fusaro lake, the Aragonese Castle of Baia.
 
In a section curated by the Metro of Naples, will be shown the designs for the new stations.
 
The exhibition includes two further sections:
 
a) international one, constituted by over 120 panels which documents the main international experiences in progress in forty European and extra-European countries;
 
2) national one, with 140 panels dedicated to the initiatives and strategies of the Boards operating in the sector (Superintendencies, Universities, Regions and Local Boards);
 
The exhibition will be open from 4 April to 19 May 2009
Daily, Wednesdays excepted, from 9.00 to 20.00

 
During the opening period of the exhibition will be organized four conventions in the conference room of the Royal Palace
