On Monday October 13, at 10,30 will be presented at the conference room of the ex- Pace Hospital ( via Tribunali 227) " Locations that we have in Commun" a project organized by Campania Movietour in collaboration with the multimedia library Santa Sofia of the Assessorship for youth policies of the Municipality of Naples and with the IV municipality. Through a series of guided tours the initiative aims to bring out those places that were the settings of famous movies filmed in Naples.
The cinema was very important for the spreading of Neapolitan imaginary. The invention of Lumière brothers came to Naples immediately after its birth without leaving the city until nowadays, setting up peerless masterpieces of the cinema: L'oro di Napoli, Le quattro giornate di Napoli, Matrimonio all'Italiana, Operazione San Gennaro, and much more titles in which we can see places, colours and the treasure of our land.
The initiative " Locations that we have in Commun" consists in a series of movietour that between October and November will start from the multimedia library Santa Sofia and the ex- Pace Hospital: after the showing of some film sequence starts the tour in which a guide will talk about films, anecdotes and will be displayed photograms to compare with the present image of the city, in order to check changes and catch a peculiar aspect of it. .
