Like every year, during May, the city of Naples opens the doors to its artistic and monumental heritage. Monuments more and less known or hidden, Palaces, Churches, situated in the unique and suggestive old town center, proclaimed by the Unesco Patrimonio Mondiale dell'Umanità ( Universal Heritage of the Humanity), will be available during unusual hours and days and above all they will be illustrated by professional guides and by lovers that have decided to adopt a part of the city and its beauties.

The project "Open-Air Museum" has reached the aim to restore to the free fruition of Neapolitans and visitors lots of areas and beauties of the old town center; in addition, during May, the contribution of many associations and, above all, the collaboration of many schools partecipating in the project "School adopts a monument" of the foundation Napoli Novantanove.

 

The tours in religion locations can take place compatibly with the liturgic celebrations or with technical needs The tourist are requested to respect religion locations during the celebration.

  2. On May 9th,10th,11th 2008 - From Castel Sant'Elmo to Castel Nuovo:"Dalle Scale della Pedamentina al centro storico".
  3. On May 16th,17th and 18th 2008 - From Castel Capuano to Castel Nuovo: "Da Neapolis al Largo delle Corregge".
  4. On May 23th,24th and 25th 2008 - From Castel Sant'Elmo to Castell dell'Ovo: "Dal Belforte alla Chiaja".
