Naples continues its journey towards the 2013 Forum of Cultures.

At 4 pm, local time, while in Italy the watches marked 22.00, with a press conference at the Fundidora Park, in Monterrey, Mexico, the Alderman for Culture of the Municipality of Naples Nicola Oddati officially inaugurated "Napul'è", the stand of the city of Naples that until 8th December, will represent the city within the Forum.

The stand was prepared to show to all the visitors of the second edition of the Universal Forum of Cultures, the features of the city, from art to cuisine, from architectural treasures to music.

"Half "room of wonders" and half "dark room" - explained the Alderman Oddati in front of the President of the Mexican Republic Felipe Calderon, and of the most important exponents of the Forum Foundation, the promoting organization of the event, among which the Minister of the Spanish industry Joan Clos - the space is a sort of archive of the resources and treasures of Naples, representing the manifold aspects of the city.

Inside the stand we will be immersed in a virtual reality in which to make a journey through art, culture, history, myths and traditions, through the continuous projection of images and videos." Thanks to the touch screen designed by the urban architect Fabrizio Mangoni, it will be possible to make a virtual walk in the city, even back in the time. The four walls will be dedicated each to one of the themes of the Forum: Peace, Knowledge, Sustainable Development, and Cultural Difference.
