Laura Terzani's aim, journalist and photographer before - does not look at things, it passes through them, catching their spirti, capturing the unique atmosphere of the places: bugged over a door, the sudden glimpse behind a wall of old bricks, in the light that makes its way through the rust of a gate.  Her works can be considered as an escape from reality and at the same time a more profund oponening the reality as well, a step to penetrate the magic of an ancient culture, capable of renewing itself without forgetting the its roots; a gap to overcome prejudices, so rooted to the Arab Muslim world.  An invitation, finally, to discover humanity, the splendid hospitality, the great cultural depth of a country that never ceases to amaze.
The author, journalist and photographer, lives between Rome and Tangier.  She worked in the drafting of the Manifesto, moreover she was chief editor of the magazines Arci and Replay.
