First Edition of the Award "Premio Partenope"

The FIDAPA Section of Naples with the initiative "Premio Partenope" hopes to offer a pearl of culture to the city.
The National Award is divided into "Lifetime Achievement Award" for Literature, Journalism, Entrepreneurship, and into"National Competition for the Visual Arts" (Painting, Sculpture, Graphic Art and Photography), open to all the associations of FIDAPA and sympathizers, Italian and non-Italian residents who are at least 16 years.

The participation fee is 85 Euros for each work (150 for two works presented by the same artist), the maximum size should be 90 cm x120.
On the back of the work an identifier module must be put, it must contain author's name, address, title of work, technique used and dimensions as well.

The registration form, attached to the notice, should be submitted by May, 25th and sent to Cristina Franzino Cagnazzi. The works must be sent by June, 15th 2014.
The jury, chaired by the philosopher Prof. Aldo Masullo, is made by the National President FIDAPA BPW Italy, the President of the District South-West, the President of the Section of Naples, the Head of the National Commission of Art and Culture, by Dr. Ermanno Corsi , already President of the Journalists of Campania, by Dr. Mimma Sardella, writer and art critic and Cristina Franzino Cagnazzi, Competition Director and Coordinator of the Commission of the Arts and Culture Section of Naples
For each category, the first prize will consist of a cashier's check of 1000 Euros, all the other participants will be considered second and will be rewarded with a scroll of participation and a medal.

The works will be exhibited from June 23rd, 2014 at 5pm till the day of the award ceremony that will take place on June, 26th in the halls of the Mondragone Foundation in Naples Piazzetta Mondragone n.18
