Soprano - Cinzia Rizzone; Mandolin - Agostino Oliviero; Discantus orchestra Ensemble, Luigi Grima, director.
 The soprano Cynthia Rizzone and mandolin Agostino Oliviero are the protagonists of the next concert of Music at the Basilica on Friday night The concert aims to be a journey into Italian vocal and instrumental music production from the XVIII century to the XX century, strolling casually from the airs of Pergolesi Giovanbattista the song of Tosti's music, from a sparkling Gaetano Donizetti to a rousing Fiera de Mastr'Andrea, through the verses of Salvatore Di Giacomo. At the center, a charming concert for mandolin and strings of Domenico Gaudioso, whose contrapuntal writing offers the right value in this tool instrument often considered as typical of Neapolitan music.

Internationally renowned pianist, performed in major concert halls and festivals in Europe, America, Australia, Japan, China, under the direction of Abbado, Muti, Chailly, Sawallisch, Berio, Boulez, performing with orchestras such as La Scala Philharmoniker, New York Philharmonia, Philadelphia Orchestra, Orchestre national de France.
Maestro Canino's concert/interview will take place on Friday, April, 25th at the beautiful San Giovanni Maggiore Basilica, where the Association Discantus organizes its musical seasons. The restored San Giovanni Maggiore Basilica, under the musical direction of Maestro Luigi Grima,
represents the beating heart of the historic center of Naples, in which the cultural and social proposals become the protagonist of everyday life,
thanks to the efforts of the Foundation Order of Engineers of the Province of Naples.
 
Artists belonging to the musical life of naples will performe with Maestro Canino.
Three prominent people of Neapolitan culture will present insights, stories, and anecdotes related to maestro Canino.
