Free guided tours throughout the Easter weekend at the MADRE Museum in Naples (via Settembrini, 79). Tourists and Neapolitans, under the wise guidance of the educational staff of the museum, will appreciate the exhibition recently opened "Un giorno così bianco, così bianco" (Such a white day, so white) by Ettore Spalletti (till August, 18th). The exhibition represents a retrospective dedicated to the Italian master of color. It was organized by MADRE Museum, in collaboration with MAXXI in Rome and GAM in Turin. The project North, Center and South, markings an effective synergy between a national (MAXXI), regional (MOTHER) and and a civic (GAM) museum. One hour of free tour in order to appreciate the colors of the 40 works on display on the 3rd floor of the museum. The works trace the artist's research, from the '60s till the most recent production. The exhibition does not follow a chronological order, it uses a complex relationship between works from different periods. The exhibition reflects a central theme of the entire Spalletti's work, namely the annulment of the time understood as linearity and its exploration as an eternal present, as perceptual experience rooted in material and in the forms.
