A new opportunity to paint outdoors is offered by the event organized by Enzo Falcone in the area of Sant'Egidio and Piazza Mercato in Naples. The latest edition marked the success of this cultural event that the association Storico Borgo Sant'Egidio organizes from many years. The artists that took part to the event painted landscapes, buildings, fountains, arches, churches and cars, in a mix of historical and string emotions, in a place that hosted trades and that has always represented an open door to the Mediterranean culture. More than thirty artists took part to the last edition. They were divided into three sections, professionals, students and young people. Considering the reduced time they have, the final result was of really high quality. Next competition represent a new start. People will choose one of the many interesting place of the city in order to immortalize it on a canva. Many students will also take part of this year edition. Many artists will come to Naples to discover and appreciate the streets and the squares where Masaniello incited the people, where Cardinal Ruffo crushed the rebellion, the square where Corradino lost his kindgom and where he died and many more places as for instance the Carmine Church, whit its cloister with frescoes and the miraculous crucifix.The event will represent a fresco itself, that will involve many artists painting their camvas along the streets. They will try to immortalize the forgotten places of Naples, also trying to give a new life to the City. Una nueva oportunidad de pintar al aire libre ofrecida por el tanque organizado por Enzo Falcone en el área de Sant'Eligio y Plaza del Mercado. La última edición marcó el éxito de este evento cultural que desde hace años la asociación Storico Borgo Sant'Eligio organiza. Muchos artistas en las diferentes ediciones que se han lidiado con paisajes y edificios, fuentes y arcos, iglesias y coches, en una mezcla de emociones y de lugares históricos, que representan la puerta milenaria abierta a las culturas mediterráneas.La última edición contó con la participación de más de treinta artistas, divididos en tres secciones, incluyendo artistas profesionales, estudiantes y jóvenes también. El resultado final fue muy satisfactorio. Pero con ese nuevo evento se abre un nuevo capítulo, que ofrece esquinas y muchas calles llenas de historia. En esta edición habrá muchos estudiantes de las diversas escuelas que van a participar, tanto en el espíritu de la participación activa en el territorio, como el mayor conocimiento de la misma. Habrá artistas que ya se conocen y los que por primera vez descubren los lugares donde Masaniello incitó al pueblo, donde el cardenal Ruffo aplastó la rebelión, la plaza donde Corradino perdió su reino y su cabeza y el crucifijo milagroso en la iglesia del Carmine. Pero va a ser un fresco de los artistas en el trabajo en las calles y plazas, unas escobillas fibrilares y capas de colores, muchos cielos e imágenes en diferentes estilos, que srepresentarán la esquina de olvidado o nunca conocido y que quizá consuguirán en revitalizar la zona, que durante años vivió una situaciòn de abandono y negligencia reiterada por parte de las instituciones. La Asociación Sorico Borgo Sant'Eligio y el Consorcio Antiche Botteghe de Piazza Mercato y Enzo Palcone son los organizadores.
