It will be held on Thursday, March 13th, 2014 from 9.00am to 1.30pm in Accoglienza Hall of the National Library of Naples, the conference "Third sector and social communication: words and actions that include. Vocabulary for a new social ethics ofinformation."
 
The conference is organized by the city agency of the third sector and social enterprise group Gesco, as apart of the activities of the portal Napoli Città Sociale and City Council, in collaboration with the Editor Redattore Sociale and the Association of Journalists of Campania.
 
In the first part of the conference (9am-11.30am) the Social Vocabulary will be presented. It is apopular manual edited by the journalist IdaPalisi, the sociologist Fabio Corbo and the historic of Italian Language Nicola De Blasi. The vocabulary deals with some social issues from a linguistic pointof view. Its goal is to guide thereader in the choice of the correct expressions and vocabulary, to avoid the spread of negative stereotypes. The discussion on the vocabulary will open the first session of the conference, after the greetings of the Councilor for Social Policies of the City Roberta Gaeta, of the Superintendent of the Cultural Heritage of NaplesGiorgio Cozzolino and regional directors of the Order of Journalists Vincenzo Esposito and Lucio Perone.
Guests: Patricia Bianchi, Professor of Italian Linguistics and Giampiero Griffo, head of the new section on the diversity of the National Library of Naples.
Francesco Romanetti, journalist of Il Mattino, will coordinate the event.
 
The second session will start at 12.00 am and it will be focused on the strategies for the developmentof the third sector, with the introductory speechby Marco Musella, director of the Department of Political Science, University Federico II, and the speeches of representatives of the organizations that run the city agency for the promotion of the third sector: Carlo Maria Cananzi, president of the cooperative StudioErresse, Luca Sorrentino, president of Ape, agency for the promotion of social cooperation, Claudio Esposito president of Consul Service;Sergio D'Angelo, director of the group of social enterprises Gesco.
