Exhibition "In the womb of Naples between myths and legends"
Terrace Room of Castel dell'Ovo - March,13th-25th 2014
On March 15th, 2014 at 5.30pm, in the majestic setting of the Terrace Room of Castel dell 'Ovo in Naples, the symposium on contemporary art will take place.
"In the womb of Naples between myths and legends"
The Association Arteggiando organized the event, under the patronage of the Campania Region, the University Suor Orsola Benincasa, and the City of Naples, which granted ten-day spaces of one of the most representative monuments of the city of Naples, Castel dell'Ovo. At the opening night there will be the Mayor of Naples Luigi De Magistris.
The curator of the event is the architect Giovanna D'Amodio, president of Arteggiando.The association, which has to its credit numerous events and art exhibitions all over the country, in locations of historical and cultural interest, promotes initiatives aimed at disseminating knowledge and the arts in general, and the cultural exchange between Italian and foreign artists, with associations and similar entities as well.
The exhibition will be presented by the art critic prof. Rosario Pinto, moreover there will be Galiero Salvatore, president of "Valori e Diritti". A video of the opening night will be make, then it will be spread on the web and on some television stations. The exhibition will be publicized on the website of the Municipality of Naples, and on-line and paper newspapers. Guests of the event will be some of the most prestigious art galleries in Naples. During the evening there will be the projection of the documentary "Naples esoteric" by Mauro Lepore.
The theme of the exhibition is inspired by the stories and legends that have always characterized places and people of Naples, getting an opportunity to showcase the immense current key in "intangible heritage" to which the title refers. The review has also a didactic purpose, contributing to the dissemination of Neapolitan culture, given the presence of artists from all over the country and even from abroad.
Naples seems a city suspended in time, where old and new coexist inseparably under the eyes of all, a city where more than in any other place will boost the myths and legends that often exceed the reality itself, making it indecipherable to the Neapolitans themselves. Both myths and legends belong to an ancient oral tradition handed down from generation to generation make to create that aura of mystery that the miracle of San Gennaro at the Castel dell 'Ovo, from the ancient to the famous decumani SpaccaNapoli evoke a passage artistic/culture that makes us proud and we are proud of our membership.
There will be all forms of expression, photography, sculpture, painting, with works by great masters.
The Vernissage of the exhibition there will be on Saturday, March 15th, 2014 at 5.30pm.

Exhibición En el vientre de Nápoles entre mitos y leyendas

El 15 de marzo de 2014, a las 17.30 horas, en el majestuoso escenario de la Salade la Terraza de Castel dell 'Ovo en Nápoles, tendrá lugar el de Arte Contemporáneo
"En el vientre de Nápoles entre mitos y leyendas"
El organizador del evento es la Asociación Arteggiando, bajo el patrocinio de la Región de Campania, la Universidad Suor Orsola Benincasa, y la ciudad deNápoles, que ha concedido espacios durante diez días en uno de los monumentos más representativos de la ciudad de Nápoles, Castel dell'Ovo. En la noche deapertura será presente el alcalde de Nápoles Luigi De Magistris.
El curador del evento es el arquitecto Giovanna D'Amodio, presidente de Arteggiando. La asociación, que ya ha organizado numerosos eventos yexposiciones de arte en toda Italia, en lugares de interés histórico y cultural, se propone la promoción de iniciativas destinadas a la difusión y el conocimiento de las artes en general, y el intercambio cultural entre los artistas italianos y extranjeros, las asociaciones y otras entidades.
La exposición será presentada por el crítico de arte. Rosario Pinto, además partecipará Galiero Salvatore, presidente de Valori e Diritti. Un video del evento, que luego será difundido en la red y en algunas estaciones de televisión, se grabará. Al evento asistirán algunas de las más prestigiosas galerías de arte de Nápoles. Durante la tarde habrá una proyección del documental "Nápoles esotérica" de Mauro Lepore.
El tema de la exposición está inspirado por las historias y leyendas que siempre han caracterizado los lugares y a la gente de Nápoles, obteniendo la oportunidad de mostrar el "patrimonio intangible" al que el título hace referencia. La exhibición también presenta un fin didáctico, contribuyendoa la difusión de la cultura napolitana, dada la presencia de artistas de todoel país e incluso del extranjero.
Nápoles parece ser una ciudad suspendida en el tiempo, donde lo antiguo y lo nuevo conviven inseparablemente bajo los ojos de todos, una ciudad donde más que en ningún otro lugar va a impulsar los mitos y leyendas que a menudo superan la realidad misma, por lo que es indescifrable para los napolitanos. Tanto los mitos como las leyendas pertenecen a una antigua tradición oral transmitida degeneración en generación.
Todas las formas de expresión, la fotografía, la escultura, la pintura y las obras degrandes maestros caracterizarán esta exhibición
La inauguración de la exposición tendrá lugar el 15 de marzo 2014 a las 17:30horas.

Horas de visita: todos los días de 10 a 13 y de 15 a 19.
