Giving award during the International cinematographic art Exhibition of Venice

The Association Le Tre Ghinee/Nemesiache, together with "Al Blu di Prussia" and the collaboration of Assessor to the Equal Opportunity of Comune di Napoli, invites to the ceremony of commencement of Award  Lina Mangiacapre that will be on 13th october 2012, at the Art and Culture Gallery "Al Blu di Prussia" at via Filangieri 36, at 6.00pm.
The award, planned 1987 by Lina Mangiacapre (Nemesi), as Award Elvira Notari, and presides by herself and given continuosly to every edition of International cinematographic art Exhibition of Venice, joined by a jury composed by journalists and cinematographic critics at 50% men and women, it's aimed to "advertise filming works that shows the changing of image of woman, subject of history and culture".  
A award of kind, unique, in a festival of prestige as that one of Venice, suspended in 2002, date of Lina Mangiacapre's passing, the Award was recalled with her name.
Tribute to a pioneer of cinema "Elvira Notari", tribute to a writer, journalist, film maker, an artist who could pass love for beauty, truth, freedom, creating and diffusing herself a cinema with a new cultural sensibility toward a female universe, protagonist and not victim of the story: a cinema that suggests new images of women rich of the old story and capables to project themselves in the future.

 
 

"Cinema it's, above all, memory. Memory of suppressed realities and cancelled. A return of value of history, a look of profane and blasphemous taste, over the death line. Orfeo, with the music of cinema, passes the Averno bank (time) and brings to light" (Lina Mangiacapre).


 

This year, the jury composed by Valerio Caprara, Fabio Ferzetti,Titta Fiore, Heike Hurst, Simone Manceau, Franco Mariotti, Romano Milani, Matilde Tortora has assigned the award to the film QUEEN OF MONTREUIL by Sòlveig Anspach with the following reason: "Orginality and irony to show possibility to cross desperation and loneliness in the reception and participation, to life, of others, creating figures of women capables to" do poetry".
Giuseppina Tommasielli, Assessor to the Equal Opportunities of Comune di Napoli will give the Award (a sculpture of Niobe), to the icelandic actor Úlfur Aegisson, to the film maker, engaged in a brand new set. Then there will be the screening of the original movie with subtitles in english.  The event it's in the program of Venice in Naples. This initiative it's sponsored and promoted by the Patronage of Comune di Napoli and Campania Region.
