10 photographers involved in 1000 pictures and emotions in the heart of a pulsing city, weaved in an indissoluble thread which link the sacred and the profane: hanged clothes; the Neapolitan Souls of Purgatory (Anime del Purgatorio) caressed and worshipped with daily prayers; the cult of the Anime Pezzentelle ("Little tramp souls") entrusted to popular pietas; the Fantasy and the Concreteness; the Irony and the Anger; beliefs and exorcisms between a coffee and a Lotto; the Death not seen as the End but as new life between living people; the Life as a miracle which repeats itself; the Fortune as a God's gift; 1000 daily difficulties that are parts of a way wanted by the Destiny, to face with courage pride of our own roots, with an amulet in pocket and turning look to San Gennaro.
An exhibition dedicated to the city of Pulcinella and to all exceptional people who have opened their house and shops to welcome us with an extraordinary humanity.
