Opening times from Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 7 pm
The ticket office closes at 6 pm.
Admittance ticket price: 5 euro - groups of min. 15 persons: 4 euro.
Free entry: under-18s and over-60s; school childen accompanied by teachers; university students (D.M.13/5/93), ICOM members.
School-children are advised to book in advance the visit at the museum office.

Central Zone: Buses C55 (Corso Umberto - Via De Pretis) and R2 (Central Station - Piazza Trieste e Trento).

There is a prestigious collection of books belonging to the "Ettore De Mura" Library and the books donated by the Civic Museum, which is the Modern Section.
The Study Area includes the reception and information offices and educational activities.
The Service aims at playing a fundamental role of guidance for educational activities by offering teachers and cultural operators interesting preparatory meetings to visits and support for a more detailed knowledge of the museum. In this way, the Study Area is becoming more and more effective as an active centre of cultural promotion.
