The protagonists of the new exhibition are the Silver Stories. San Gennaro's Treasure Museum, April, 19th-July, 20th.
An exhibition of San Gennaro's treasure hidden masterpieces masterpieces, which confirms the quality and quantity of the immense wealth dedicated and donated to the Saint Patron of Naples. Eighty masterpieces donated by the Deputation and famous men, as well as by people, to enrich the liturgical furnishings of the Chapel of the Treasure of San Gennaro, which will be on display together with six work already present at the Museum. The theme chosen this year by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage is the "book". A comparison could be the book itself and the museums, archaeological sites and monuments, which become the theater of the readings of books.
Mastriani, Domenico Rea, Matilde Serao, Benedetto Croce, but also ancient historical documents of the Deputation, intertwine with the stories of the events of the Neapolitan artists who have made the most important masterpieces of silver, they will relive the magical scenery of the Museum of the Treasure of San Gennaro talking about it and its masterpieces as well. Silver stories will be not only a scientific path, by Paolo Jorio, director of the Museum, where it will be possible to discover the hidden masterpieces, but also
but also the scene of a new and different way to present the masterpieces of Neapolitan goldsmith.
