Monumentando Naples: restoration of 27 monuments of Naples

The City of Naples, in the procedure of finding a sponsor for the implementation of the restoration of 27 monuments, chose not to favor only one side of the city: in this sense the monuments classified as highly attractive in terms of advertising impact received an important role in order to develop those monuments that because of their features and their location would have hardly attracted the interest of a sponsor.
 
The tender included the choice of the sponsor (the contractor). The economically advantageous project was chosen. Those that could take part to the tender were associations, intitutions, individuals, advertising brokers, companies. The Administration wanted to ensure that the execution of the restoration work was carried out by a qualified companies entrusting addition, for this reason the Superintendece as the role to oversee the works of restoration. The contracting firm was the One Outdoor Company.

For the delivery of the work of each monument, on a proposal from the sponsor and in accordance with the Service Enhancement Program and UNESCO and Valorizzazione Città Storia, a timetable of action will be set. The City of Naples will supervise the works by inspecting and checking the progress of the works. The municipal administration will allow the use of scaffolds for the preparation of advertising space, to be installed at the expense of the sponsor.
