Promotion of sports activities

• Planning and organization of activities and sports events that are considered as remarkable for the city and its surrounding areas; 
• Promotion of the aforementioned initiatives; 
• Management of the relationships with educational agencies, international, national, regional and local sports associations that are active in the area; 
• Promotion of sport, especially among the young, handicapped and senior citizens; 
• Organization of the Giochi della Gioventu' (sports games for young people) and Students Championships; 
• Support of activities aiming to carry out events of international and national importance; 
• Setting up of sports facilities (monitoring of sports interests in the city areas and public and private sports initiatives), in accordance with the following services: "Main Sports Faciltiies Management" and "Management of Important Sports Facilities in the Districts".

• Planning and organization of initiatives aimed at sports promotion in collaboration with bodies, associations and other active in this field, in order to improve the quality of life in areas that are decentralized and poor; 
• On a project and financial basis, taking part in sports events that are important on an international and national scale and are therefore a means of attraction for the relaunching of sports activities; 
• Issue of the congruity and/or validity certificate as technical project, necessary to be granted funds from the Region in order to build, extend, improve and purchase facilities and equipment.

• Organization, in collaboration with the Provincial Education Office of Naples, of the Students Sports Games, regulated by the Ministry of Education; 
• Involvement of public and private junior high schools; 
• Organization of individual and team competitions, provided there are playgrounds, stewards, referees, timekeepers, umpires, physicians, sanitary assistants available; 
• Purchase of material for prize-giving and closing ceremonies.
