The format of the Universal Forum of Cultures foresees that the event is entrusted to the city that becomes the true protagonist. 
 
The city of Naples that was awarded the fourth edition of the event on 19th December 2007, day of the assignment, created a net of national and international relations to make agreements and protocols with the cities of the world to reach 2013 with the presence of 101 cities protagonists, together with Naples, of the event.
 
Contemporarily meetings have been realized with the city, moments in which the Alderman for Culture Nicola Oddati explained and introduced the project of the Forum in Naples 2013, talking to all the social components of our city, from the artisans to the entrepreneurs, from the world of culture to the associations that work in the social field.
